Suuuuuch a beautiful place with a ridiculously huge vegetarian and vegan selection. I always want to try everything on the menu. I hadn’t been for years since moving out of Bath and I’m SO glad they’re still here. The servers are also so helpful with recommendations and super friendly. Thank you!! A must go for anyone living in or visiting the city. The Indian Breakfast is delightful!

Every single time I’ve come here just for a coffee it has been outstanding; they are so light but also have depth and a unique flavour profile. This time, I was having breakfast with my wife and, once again, we were blown away by the quality of the coffee AND the food. I can’t believe I’d not eaten here before. My wife and I had the Keralan Curried Eggs and the Mumbai Butty - just superb. The team at Rooted are also so nice. Maybe the best brunch/breakfast place in Bath? I’d say so. Can a place with 4.8 rating still be underrated? Oh yes. If you are in this part of the city, definitely grab something.

What a glorious place to eat. I've heard it gets very busy at the weekend, so glad we visited in the week. From the moment we walked in, the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly - without being over the top. I had already looked at the menu online, but was drawn away by a special - Facon Burger with apple wood smoked cheese, Facon chilli jam, gherkins and fries. What a glorious combination. I wolfed it down, yes I was hungry but it was just so good! The Mr had the spicy burrito - also excellent I'm led to believe. We weren't there for very long, but am already looking forward to going back very soon. If you're looking for somewhere slightly out of the way, with great food, great staff and a great atmosphere, then I suggest you give this place a go. You won't even notice that it's a meat free venue!!

Wonderful staff, and lovely food. I'm all-dairy and beef free due to intolerances. It hasn't always been this way so I'm very familiar of the ease of eating out and choosing whatever I want on a menu, and the taste of everything dairy! The past 8 years (beef) and 4 years (dairy) have been difficult. Food is powerful, healing and all things great. Most restaurants have one or two (if you're lucky) vegan options for mains and only a fruit sorbet for dessert. It's sad and heartbreaking to have such limited options, I'm fed up of restaurants having the same vegan meal options, there's no vision or variety. BUT! Having a restaurant/cafe like Rooted is sublime. An ENTIRE MENU of choice with great tasting mains and delicious desserts is happiness - it's freedom. Vegetarian/vegan restaurants mean so much to me as there's no worry or apprehension of what's on the menu or possible dairy mistakes. We had the roast dinner - and although my mum's roast will always be the best - the feeling this Rooted Roast gave me was so great! I felt free and at ease knowing I could have it all without compromise or worry! It's been a very long time since I've eaten out and been able to share a cauli-cheese!!! I had the applepear crumble (yummy) and my partner had the walnut brownie (also yummy). The staff were super lovely and calm - another great sign this is the place to be as the restaurant was full and the staff were so chill and on-it. Overheard people ordering gluten free options too. All the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked very good. We will definitely be back.

This place was about a 25 minute walk from the main station but worth the walk! We got such an amazing meal that was packed with flavour and generous size. The staff were so lovely and helpful with picking what options to have. The restaurant also has a nice outdoor area when the weather is nice to sit. We got the Indian breakfast and the poutine chips. Both were so tasty and would definitely have it again!

We’re regulars and went to their October Supper Club last night which was brilliant! A wondeful cosy atmosphere, great customer service, and delicious food as always. We’re always blown away by their flavours and really adore and value this local gem. Our first time at their supper club and will definitely go again!

An absolute triumph. As a pessimist to vegetarian food, this place has really opened my eyes to the culinary possibilities one can aspire to using vegetarian friendly produce. I went for brunch on a Sunday, with my veggie bf. I had the banana milkshake to drink. A perfect blend of banana flavour, milk and vanilla. Not one element was overpowering. He ordered some Indian drink I can’t quite name but he said it was very good. Wanting to test the establishment, I ordered the Sunday lunch, which was a vegetarian take on a beef wellington. It was incredibly creative. The “meat” consisted of oats and mushrooms mixed together, wrapped in a delightful pastry casing. It was superb and eye opening. The vegetable accompaniments were also incredible. So fresh! My bf had the Indian breakfast, which he said was divine. Then for dessert I had the brownie. A tad dry for my liking but still very good. A nice string dark chocolate flavour. I whole heartedly recommend this place for everyone, not just vegetarians! Please come and support it. A hidden gem in Bath
